ICYMI, at this moment, a Republican campaign sign in a yard serves as a warning to households like ours to steer clear.

It tells us that in that home they protect pedophiles (let’s remove ALL the creeps), and are fine with punching down on women, minorities, children, the poor, the disabled, and The Constitution of the United States of America.

It tells us that house professes a mission to save the unborn, but harbors an utter lack of regard for most of the born.

It tells us that house likely loves Jesus, but only a Jesus that hates immigrants and refuses empathy to the downtrodden.

It tells us that they’re not only proud enough to shout it, but to also campaign for it. To fight for all of the above.

Until just four years ago, I was a self-righteous Mormon. I left that belief system when I realized it was not what I actually believed. It was pure liberation – my heart loved like it had never loved before, and I gained legions of humans who truly understood me and my human condition in return. But, I had to first take down the walls.

It’s okay to leave a toxic relationship, especially with something as evil as this horrible man that makes we, your neighbors, think, “Ew, how on Earth could they like that?” Can you imagine what our grandkids will think? My heavens!

Whether you realize it or not, the hate is hurting you.

The hate is hurting us.

The hate is hurting U.S.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Neighbor
